Spring on My Mind
12 gorgeous pieces that spark joy
We’ve had the mildest winter I can remember since we moved from Chicago to Denver 5 years ago. And as a born and raised Texas girl, an easy winter is not something I’m complaining about!
While I know that the lack of snow is not good—it’s super dry here and no precipitation in the winter can mean more wildfires in the summer—a sunny, 67 degree day will always hit. Let’s just hope the snow is on its way very soon.
In the meantime, these warmer days have definitely got spring on my mind. My husband and I just booked a trip to Miami for late March and the thought of lounging in the humid, hot air next to the ocean is pretty intoxicating.
This year has been THE year that I add more color to my wardrobe, so what you’ll see here is a LOT of fun color and you know what I love about it? It is SO HAPPY.
I think that’s where I get stuck the most on an all neutral wardrobe. For me, it simply doesn’t spark joy, and this? HELL YES. JOY, FUN, WONDER. I want more of all of it.
Our clothes impact our mood and getting dressed to feel good and confident is just one little way we can make a change in ourselves and those around us.
